I'm in it still, mostly hitting up the small indoor 1/10th scale track. Dont' get to use my big truggy much anymore. Need a few more batteries for that beast. Currently deciding if I want to move to a Neu 1521 motor, or go for a Neu/Castle 1717 motor from an XO-1 take off.

Sounds like a fast indoor car. I just got a old rc car from my uncle. Not sure what is it but want to find a good fast electric motor to put on it but I haven't ram electric in years. Been running nitros. ;D

Sounds like a fast indoor car. I just got a old rc car from my uncle. Not sure what is it but want to find a good fast electric motor to put on it but I haven't ram electric in years. Been running nitros. ;D Nitro noise is fun. Nitro maintenance has been less so. It gets even worse the less frequently you run them. The indoor cars would be the Hyper 10TT with a Castle 1410/Mamba Max Pro, and the Losi Mini 8ight. The mini 8ight is shockingly fast for $250. Add a 3S lipo to it and its darn near too fast to race on just about every 1/10th scale course out there. On 2S it competes with all of them in pure speed, and none of them can compete with its ability to change direction and stick like glue. The 8ights downfall is its durability when pitted against 10th scale short course trucks. The mini can take abuse from itself and the track just fine. But a single hit from a SC can put you down for 30 minutes while you repair the damage. The 10TT is great fun and easier to drive, but it lacks the edge the mini 8ight has. The Big Truggy, well thats just a blast. Goes where you want it too, and nothing stops it. Walls, other cars, people, it cares about none of those things. 6S is so stupidly fast its not funny. I haven't seen any nitro car in its weight class compare to the power the system generates.
