Well, the Jammin Truggy is too big. And the Losi Mini 8ight is just too small sometimes.... So I needed something to fill the gap. I present the OFNA Hyper 10TT truggy. I just put the car on Layaway at Al's, wont' pick it up till next month. I'm still deciding on what KV motor I'm going to go with, but for sure it will have a Castle Mamba Max Pro ESC to handle it. For steering, I'm going to go with a Hitec Digital servo I have for now. it should handle steering duty just fine, but will likely upgrade later to a 7.4v Savox servo. The ultra speed version should have plenty of torque to turn the wheels and crazy speed.

They are the same length as a Hyper 10SCT. But longer arms and a wider stance. Otherwise very much the same.
Tiny compared to a 1/8th truggy though.
The Mini 8ight is great (pun in tended) but some of the drivers at the track really aren't all that respectful of the fact that their truck is 2x the weight of my 8ight and I've been rammed quite a few times resulting in some big breakages.
I haven't complained, but I wonder how much they'd complain if i rammed them full throttle with the Jammin truggy. At 10.5lbs its near double the weight of a 1/10th SCT and made of MUCH sterner stuff.
So this truggy is intended to take the place of the 8ight, I am on the fence right now if I'm going to keep the 8ight or use it to fund parts for the 10TT.
Can't seem to find a good comparison pic size wise between them and an 8th buggy or truggy. They are quite tiny though. Even though the 8ight is miniscule next to the truggy, the 10tt is still tiny.

Actually, a good size comparison would be against a Traxxas Jato or rustler. They are very close in size.

I will most likely be swapping out the hub's for 17mm adapters so I can run 1/8th buggy wheels/tires on it. They aren't the same width, but are lower profile for a faster reacting ride. That and I have a TON of 1/8th buggy wheel/tire combos. Gotta usem for something! The truck looks quite nimble too, even in tight corners.

Sold a lot of old RC's The Fleet is gone except for the Jammin truggy, Hyper 1/7 on-road and the mini 8ight. I had ALOT of stuff. Items sold to pay for other stuff. Tamiya Bearhawk with original packaging (yes, vintage tamiya) Tamia F201 F1 On-road car (was going to sell it super cheap, put it up for auction, it was very.....lucrative.... Team Associated TC3 On-road Jammin X1 Buggy ( I shall miss you so, included both the 30vg and the modded Novarossi 528XR plus crap ton of spares) Kyosho Inferno GT. Sold 6 cars so far, have one more buggy to sell, a OFNA 9.5 MBX pro that i traded my Jato to Joe for. All totaled it was....alot. I still have my 1/10th scale 89' Batmobile which is considered a collectors item now as they are serialized and signed by the cast from the 89 movie. Mines a little beat-up but worth some money.

Uncle same was kind to me! I was able to finish the Hyper 10TT. Hyper 10TT, Mamba Max Pro, 3800kv 1410 motor, 3S 5000mah 40C LiPo batteries. Pretty slow on 2S, Good on 3S, and it'll RIP on 4S. I may step up to a 4600kv motor though. Or I may up the gearing if the system can handle the load and the temps stay down. No pics of the Jammin Truggy in comparison because the truggy is in peices right now, I smoked the rear diff good. Shaved about 1/16th of an inch off all of the spider gears. The diff fluid looked like mercury! lol.

Well, I've had this car at the track and I can honestly say I'm happy with it. I'm not IMPRESSED by it though. There isn't enough turn in. It has a big tendency to push when entering corners and only really likes to rotate under braking.
It handles bumps well, but its wheelbase is shorter than I expected, so you have to make sure that when hitting jumps at lower speeds that you stay on the throttle to keep the nose up. Otherwise it may endo on you.
The manual says its built with 1/5/1 for diff fluids, but in actuality it comes from the factory simply with greased diffs. I put 5k front, 30k center, and 1k rear. I will likely be increasing the center diff fluid weight to 60k, maybe higher. I prefer a MUCH more tail happy under throttle setup and thicker fluid in the rear diff and center will fix that for me.
I did break my first part, a part I wouldn't have expected to break actually. I broke one of the rear CV joints. Snapped the axle carrier in half, wasn't even on the throttle when it happened. Very odd.
