Ya, I don't see a single mustang in that picture.
What times were you running with your camero? Monza huh, my second car was a 75 monza with the 262 and a 4 speed. Man was that car fast lol. I would love to build another.

Blasphemy! Thats not mustang! I'll have you drawn and quartered for such an insult! Just kidding, no harm will befall you. Yay! Fellow thirdgen owner. w00t! I have one too. But its more street cruiser, and wannabe road racer. All of the upgrades have been towards tighter handling on a road course. I'll never get too wild with it as it must never fall below 25mpg highway no matter what power upgrades I do.

With the last engine, I had a holley stealth ram/LPE 211/219 cam/ported stock heads/headers/full exhuast. The cam was a mild 211/219 duration cam @.050", with a total lift of .530"/.560" using 1.6 roller rockers. I could have spent alot more on the heads, but I didn't have money, so I ported them myself based on as much information I could find online. I did have Speed Inc, a local speed shop of good repute do a competition valve job on the heads though. Capable of bottom 13's @ 104mph, and it still returned 27mpg on the highway. Idled bone stock, couldn't even tell it had a cam. Now, while that is decent, its not impressive compared to General Motor's LS based engines. Most LS1 guys can put down 450rwhp+ (vs my cars estimated 300rwhp) and still knock down almost 30mpg highway. Such is the advantage of 12* heads and other advances. I don't have a dyno of the car, so I'm not sure if it really made 300rwhp, but all of the calculators put it in the 300-320rwhp range based on its ET and trap speed, with a race weight of 3600lbs including my weight. Here is a short acceleration video of my car. 0 to 115mph. 0-60 is about 5 flat in that video. media.putfile.com/zero-2-115The reason I won't sacrifice economy is because I want a car that I could drive daily without breaking my wallet. It also has to have good street manners and be able to idle all day long in grid lock traffic. I'm hoping to do the full Hot Rod Power Tour this year. And at some point I would like to participate in the Silver State Classic, a 90 mile open road point to point race.
