k i am hooking up my t-maxx!!!! i am using my first big paycheck to get an o.s. .18, the other 40 series wheel that the guy ripped us off on, and im still un decided on tires (need something to last long) also some better servo's (i need some suggestions on nice, but resonably priced ones), and my second check i plan to get some dyeable rpm arms and skidplates, a body, and new bumpers after that i will get a new radio and receiver and mabe some other odds and ends as i go...
k i need to know what tires that will fit the 40 series rims and will last long on all surfaces (including pavement), and also what is a descent servo that will steer the t-maxx for a good price?

i got a futaba servo for my maxx, metal gear and ball bearings, works great. Sorry not sure of the size. I also up graded my servo saver. i do not like the one i got though, too weak. check out www.beatyourtruck.com there are alot of reviews for misc. stuff to put on maxx's and other rc's. Has been very helpful to me. But i think i am going to off my maxx fora savage.

sweet, i will get a futaba servo, i just gotta find out the right size, now as for tires...anybody have a clue as to which one for the 40 series would last the longest on pavement and still provide descent traction on the sand?

gotta go with the big joe's for all around tire performance on multiple surfaces. as far as a good servo, look at the hobbico line. they are a better priced servo and offer better bells and whistles over the comparable higher priced ones like hitec. my personal favorite is the cs-70. high perfrmance and metal gears for less than $40. just move your stock steering servo into the throttle position for better speed. upgrade to a rechargeble reciever pack for more performance from your servo's. don't get to carried away with the bling, you wanna make it bullet proof first.

well i had a minor setback, i helped out a family friend and loaned them some $$ outta my first check and i get my money back friday the 22nd (guaranteed) so i will be ordering the .18 then next step is some rpm parts, a good steering servo, and pro-line 40 series rims (already got three, gor ripped off on the fourth) and big joe 40 tires from pro-line, also a nice body to top it off (still undecided on the body tho)
