We have been working on a buddy of mines Emaxx for a bit of time now..
Ernest wanted more power to the wheels and to keep the front end planted..
Problem was no matter what we did could not keep consistant power in the RPM range and still have a lightweight truck..
Problem solved! We used or started with a bone stock Emaxx, Added Aluminum Bulks, aluminum Brace and skids. Added a Tmaxx Chassis for weight
And finished up with a Twin force tranni. We reversed the Twin tranny moved it forward and put the batteries in the rear of the Truck..
Now so far after testing it is working great. 1/8th Scale Shafts put the power to the wheels we will be posting pics soon..Once I get my camera back..
Thanks Tom

Well Got the TwinMAXX from Ernest aka Giboo... As mentioned before this was a bone stock Emaxx when he started with it.. So far just to list a few things. He has added the Following. Integy Bulkheads Integy Braces RC Raven Skids Magnetic Mayheim Motors and 22 tooth Pinions Tmaxx Aluminum Chassis Hotbodies Wheels Proline Tires MIP CVD's Futaba 2 Channel Radio 2.5 Shock Towers Savage Springs Cut and stretched to fit maxx Shocks. Custom Painted Body by Me..LOL In Pearl Fluorecent Green with Pearl Blue flames Water Marc/Spray pattern along the side to make it look like Fish Scales.. Man alot was done to this thing. But Ernest wanted more.. So Finally we added a Twin Force Tranni.. Some have mentioned doing so and we thought we would give it a try... Some drilling was done to mount the Twin Tranny plate to the chassis.. The Tranny sits off to the side just a bit however the EVX makes up for the off set of weight. We moved the Batteries to the Rear of the chassis to keep the weight ballanced and it worked.. It jumps flat every time! Mounting the tranny farther forward gave the truck unbelievable stability. We used MIP CVD's in the Front and in the rear a Stock Long Dogbone from the Twinforce was used with MIP Cups mounted on the Diffs. The Main bottom of the transmission and drive chain fit perfect under and inbetween the Braces. Unfortunatly we could not use a Center Skid because of the Size of the Bottom of the Center Diff Section.. Oh well..HEHE However now after some driving and testing this truck is able to keep up with a Revo at the track and run time went up about 20%. The batteries used are 2400 Cells and the truck will average 20+ Minutes of run on a charge at full bore. More testing will be done and maybe some more will be done to make it faster.. Possibly going to a Brushless system or a Different ESC and motor combo... What do you think? Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks Tom SpyderWebRC@hotmail.com

That really is a sweet looking truck. I think you guys are the first to put a twin tranny in a maxx. I know I haven't seen one anywhere else.
