If your crawling it, I'd drop the chassis a little more. I would also put the battery on the front axle. It still throws the cg off, but it will help in ascending/descending. Just my 2 cents, nice ride though.

Well aware of the CG issue hcfr....and the battery will work best on the rear axle unless I just split it up and turn it into a saddle pack for mounting purposes...but this truck will probably never see the out doors...it's just for crawling over pillows in the house, lol Here's a pic of it the way it's supposed to be...just for you hcfr, j/k lol

It's supposed to be however you like it. Anytime someone builds it themselves, it's a 100 times better than any factory ride, in my opinion, which is not worth much. You have a great MT. I wouldn't think of telling you or anyone else what or how they should do something. I am definately not an authority in this area, reason being I haven't completed my first custom build yet. I have seen and read alot about what does and doesn't work. I sincerely hope I didn't offend you, if I did I am sincerely apologetic. I am sure most people in here could show me a thing or 2 or 3 about this sport, there is no dening that. All I try to do here is pass on info. I've come across that might help anyone that reads these threads.

Easy there hcfr, lol. I'm not offended at all, hence the "j/k, lol" in the sentence before the new "lowered pic." Actually to be honest I meant to put the new pic up before anyone commented on the ride height but you beat me to it, lol. Anyway I guess I should appologize to you if what I wrote sounded hostile. I was just goofing so no harm meant. Get that USA-1 done!!!!! lol

Yep, pillows and the occasional cat maybe (if the tlt can catch it) I'd rather take on the rocks with my clod:
