hey guys what do you paint you BRASS chassis with I have tried kyrlon and it dont stick good what can I use? ??

not to be smart .....but did you try to use primer on it first ? other than that i dont know havent painted one yet , maybe rustolium ? ( yeh i know i cant spell it LOL )

HELP ok guys I have now tried rust-oleum cold galvanizing compound primer,wal-mart primer,dupli-color self-etching primer AND NONE WILL STICK TO BRASS I am getting upset I have a nice chassis that I can not paint this stinks

You were asking for help, not many people responded. So maybe nobody knew how to make paint stick to brass. It might be a good idea to post how you ended up getting it to work, for those of us who need help.

ok rock spyder is probly going to take credit for this but I made the paint stick to the brass by putting a realy thin coat of dupli-color self-etching primer and then put it in the oven on 200 for about 5 to 7 min and then do it again for about 3 times and then I painted it with dupli-color car paint and it is not the best paint job but it will work
