well i am planning to turn my ntc3 into a hard core drift machine, my "reachable" future plans are this: 1) yokomo drift tires and rims (i checked and they will fit the ntc3) 2) 3 shoe clutch 3) super hard springs/threaded aluminum shocks 4) and to top it all off a nice shell (still undecided on type)
what do you all think?
and my "unreachable" plans are to rebuild the whole thing in carbon fiber and graphite to really lighten things up, but like i said....."unreachable"

Sounds great!!! Can't wait to see you progress on it. I've been wanting to do a Drifter for a long time...but I would think you'd rather have Electric, than Nitro...because Electric gives you instant torque...with a Nitro, you have a delay in power to the wheels....cuz of the clutch. And you'll go through clutches like crazy because of the extra stress. Plus Nitro's are heavier than Electrics, and have a higher center of gravity, so that works against you as well. But good luck with it!

That makes pretty good sense. The cogs are always turning up there aren't they.

yeah all that is true, but i already have a nitro, and i want to make something different, and i can lighten it up with carbon fiber too, i got about $40 more than expected which is very nice, i plan to get a really nice 3 shoe clutch. and besides if nitro's are bad drifters, why would yokomo come out with one like they did?
