Its probably been asked before but here it is anyway.... Im looking for an ESC that will work good with a clod but i dont want to spend the money on a super rooster is there a cheeper unit out there? Now for the motor info I have duratrax powerline wet magnet modified motors any info would be good, how many turns etc. this is a project truck that im working on and I havent done much with electronic rc mostly nitro which i think im going to get out of as electric seems to be less of a pain. Thanks for any info

Hello toyotatruckin! Novak has a little bit cheaper version ESC called Rooster-not super rooster and its $69.99 thru towerhobbies.com,but if thats still a little high for ya Mtroniks has a couple esc's i would recommend that will work with a couple stock motors or maybe even a couple of 19 turn mod motors. Here is a link for ya on the Mtroniks ECO series ESC's globalhobby.com/public/mfr/mtronc01.aspThe ECO 20 should handle 2 Stock motors and the ECO 20 has reverse and one touch setup and its waterproof esc,too! Mtronic or Msonic ESC's....
They have several kinds and are affordable as well as waterproof
look at RCMart they carry them as well as Hobbypeople

thanks for the info and as far as anything on the motor cans other than i what i already listed is the timing marks so i dont know how many turns they might be

 this is my project truck that im working on sorry for the bad picture will post beter ones this was a tes pic. your basic clodzilla II chassis I have made longer links from 1/4 round aluminum with traxxas ballends hot bodies aluminum savage shocks 4 im thinking on putting all 8 on it they are mounted to frame with the esp lift kit flipped over and moved in closer to the center 70 chevy body painted purple,black bed cover, silver bumpers and a few decals its my project in the works |
