it can but I just dont like low rpm motors 25,000rpm is LOW? The TTR 70 in the EK4 only turns 15,000rpm! Now, THAT's low! Yes, I know, some turn 35+rpm. It's been my experience that "low"rpm motors have more low-end grunt, which is what I'm after. Proper transmission gearing will take care of the other end.

Disc brakes: the calipers: IMEX tires stick out way too much from the rims:

I know it's a little late to bring up, but why didn't you go with the gear break on the axles? Like the 21/2 ton military rockwells.

Cuz that's too easy! lol When I create my trucks, I try to incorporate ideas that are either only found on large scale trucks or aren't found, period, such as the independant suspension with 4-link that PIE WAGON has. Donut Patrol will have 4-wheel disc brakes, 10hp and a 3-speed trans. You'd be hard-pressed to find that in large scale! I'd like to make the next monster truck nuclear powered, but, I'm having trouble finding plutonium.

Thanks, jamest8420. I have good news and I have bad news. The bad news is that I had to scrap the Donut Patrol chassis! Not wide enough for the 2 46's. I didn't think the 46'w were nearly the same size as the TTR-70 The good news is that the new chassis is 1" longer & 1" wider! Even tho the chassis is wider, I still had to mill the heads so that they would fit side by side. hcfr34....PIE WAGON:
