Well here is my latest time consumer ;D The frame rails and axles are from a juggy, I have an emaxx tranny ready to go in it as soon as I make the mounts. The tranny has a single Mag Mayhem and is geared with a 72T spur and 9T pinion. I may lose the savage shocks and use some 4" with shock mounts on the links. I made the links from 1/4 aluminium. It will hopefully be my dream crawler with alot more work but it needs a name. Anyone? Mark

how about... hmmm.. Call it something along the lines of My Xtreme R/C. #1 or 2... lol, I've never been good with names. I named a Estes Shuttle Rocket, Challenger lol and it ended up crashing and blowing up. Great Truck by the way.

I was thinking "Cruzer" something because of the body, which I plan to keep on it for awhile.

HEy Cavatude , just a few questions for you , sinceI have a juggernaut coming in. How long are those links from eyehole to eyehole ? Are you going to have to make extensions for the driveshafts , or are you going to Maxx style shafts ? And do you have any side profile shots with the body off ? Im curious to see how you mounted the Savage shocks.
Thanxs , Paul

I have maxx shafts for the moment, pretty sure they are gonna snap after I lock the front and rear axle's. I'll see if I get the chance to take a pic tomorrow of the side, I just finished putting that tranny in and holy cow, did that ever add alot of wieght. I am gonna swap over to 4" shocks for sure now, have to much side to side sway Tom--Thats alot of names, got anything else up your sleeve ;D looker2756--Yeah its gonna be a basher body, I can always paint another

Hey Paul here is a crummy side shot, nothing fancy but it works. Just some spacers at the top and mounted along side the link at the bottom, but it doesn't wanna support the heavy chassis so its gotta be redesigned. I'm thinking of making this truck a mud bogger instead of a crawler by lowering it down some and running maxx padddles on it.... or Mark
