Yeah I'm bored.. its snowing and cold to screw with Rc's. so I took pics and weights of my RC's.. First My IGT.. I'm going to by a new engine soon as the OPS .21 is completely shot finally after having it pinched twice and replacing the con rod twice and bearings once. Weight with the body.. Weight Without the body.. Now my leftover parts project car.. making it light as possible to only go straight.. I still have different wheels and tires on the way and a few other mods. When it get it to hook nice and straight it should be sick! Now My Other RC's. My 7.5 Kanai 3 and my RC18t.. Mamba 5400, 3s 11.1v LiPo, or 2s 7.4v LiPo, graphite top plate.. kept it light and fast. Couple more pics of the Kanai 3.. and the RC18t..

I have seen the lightened buggy and it really does weight just about nothing. Ought to scream once John figures out how to get it to hook up. My stuff's all heavy. The LSP is about 9lbs and the Jammin buggy is around the low 8's on a full tank. Still, the 528xr's don't have a problem moving them. I demand videos! Oh, here's a video of Johns IGT. media.putfile.com/Johns-Inferno-GT

I figured I'd get the weight of all my RC's since they are all spotless clean right now. All the weghts were with a dry tank.. K3 was without a body too.
I knew the IGT woiuld be under just 8 lbs but I was surprised that the K3 weighed so little. I imagine with a body it will be about the same weight as the IGT with the body. All the light weight parts on really do help when all added together.
The IGT will be getting a new engine soon. OPS 21 is done. not sure what I'm going with yet though probably going to grab a silly on road engine. Also the light weight beater is getting some soft compound truggy tires for the rear. when those come in I'll start to mess with the suspension. soften up the rear for sure. I might make a wing for the front too because the one time I tested it when I did roll into the throttle as a decent clip the nose started to lift off the ground.
Ohh and the RC18t is back on 11.1v and its running the highest top speed gearing I have. I may have to put a wing on the nose of that too! lol.

Videos! Video!
1/8th scale buggy lifting the nose while rolling would be sweet on video.
Not surprising, I bet the weight distribution is more like a dragster now with more than 60% of the weight in the rear.
Throw some skinnies on the front.

hehe.. Skinnies were on the list actually. I'm going to narrow some old Tarmac II's. Currently its on an 18/44 gearing with the old IGT wheels on it and it moves out no problem. We'll see how much the larger diamater soft truggy rears do. Too bad I don't have any way of getting video. If I at least owned any video camera I could do a live capture using the TV tuner/video capture box I have. When it warms up I'll have it out. it should be a sick setup.
