Well i thought I would post up my savage for all of you to peep. This is still a work in progress. I need to get a larger motor for it as the 25 I have in it is not enough for this beast. Here is a list of some of the upgrades: Mid mount tank alum bulkless difs alum lower arms axial 40 series Beadlocks Axial tires 1.5" extended TVP's .5" in front 1" in the rear (This requires custom driveshafts for both front and rear) I have My almost 2 year old extremly abused Basher body on it as it is one of the few bodies that will actually fit on it and still look good. Sorry if the pics are large. I wanted em to look good As for my Hyper it is still D.O.A. from Septemberfest. I have a new motor for it just need to get some electronics and wheels and it should be back up and running again.

The wheels on it are the Axial Bead locks with axial tires.. I have watched this truck in action and it is sick jumping and landing..

on the mid tank mount, its all hand made brackets that hold the tank there. just like the steering and throttle servos, everything is one off on chris' truck. even the shafts coming off the tranny are custom built. i have seen his truck all the way thru the build and we are still trying to figure out how this thing fits together. and yes this truck jumps and lands awesome.

Unfortunately the Axial rims didn't last more than a few runs ...when we did the bash at the BMX track three of the rims broke ...the edges of them sorta "rolled" over on them .

Yeah from what Tornacl and Air Viscious have said the Axial wheels suck.

I think the breakage of the rims has something to do with the combination of tire type ( profile) and driving style ...they did great on my truck with the Moabs on them but the low profile Axial tires do nothing to protect the rim in a roll over ....
