I have owned a few Clods before but this is the first one I build myself. I wanted a basher Clod so this is what I put together. Clod axles with the front diff locked and rear open. TTR Rage chassis with links and rear lock out and 4" threaded aluminum shocks. TXT wheels and tires with TTR 1 1/4 wheel wideners. TQ3 radio and receiver, Super Rooster esc, Hitec mg steering servo, topped of with an old school Clod body. The Clod body is just for show, I run a beat up Hummer body when I take it out. This set up has around 80% articulation but is very stable on hard flat surfaces, which was my goal with this truck...Capable yet drivable. I haven't had this much fun with an RC in a long time.

i dont like clods twins are starting to take over. If twins had all the aftermarket and part availablitiy the twin would rule the clod in my opinion. But that clod looks pretty nice for a first build. nice... ice... man

Yeah but the Clods have one advantage over the Twins.. And I love them both.. The lack of drive shafts in the clod make for a truck that allows your imagination to go wild..HEHE

The Clod is up and running again! It was just the all thread rod that screws into the lower link.
PDBRider, Twins are cool but I don't like the chain drive, and they tend to shear the dogbones in the front axles, and diffs (both of mine did). Like Rock Spider said, no drive shafts means your only limitation is your imagination.
CLOD IS KING!
