Strobe That's a sweet set-up! The parts look like they were always meant to be! (Not to change the focal point but that porch might need some customizing soon!

Nah adam that is a Crawlers porch....LOL Look at the way it is set up. the Dip and missing wood where probably used for a Jump for that awsome beast J/K hehe...works for me. I have an old farmhouse built in the early 1900's. I've had the place for 20yrs. I have 5 acres of play area ! Performance.....New Era tuber chassis is very heavy. I should have started with one of Rocks chassis's ! Handles pretty good, know more when the snow melts. Limited to the street right now. Testing it out to see if it's worth continuing with the build. Used up the Mayhems in about 20 runs (They were new). I slapped in some D6 14 turns with 10 cells...putting a little stress on the Super Rooster. 16/66 gearing. Runtime is about 4 minutes ! I also run with Dom rims and maxx tires. Jumbos and maxx tires, she ran about 22-25mph estimated. Now I'm beginning to have fun. With the Hitec 1/4 digital servo I had to run a separate battery pack for the servos. I could shut the SR down on hard turns. I can run down a hump pack in 2 runs with that servo. Those packs are a couple yrs old so take that into account. I'll try GP2200's AA's and build a servo pack with them. Not sure where this one is going to end up at. May have to start all over again.....We'll see. Trying to decide if I want to go brushless with it.

I have a frame that would work great for the design...HEHE
Sounds like alot of area to run but your run time should be up not down unless you are running to lite of gearing
I would try 14 tooth pinion and maybe larger spur?
But sounds like a perfect fun truck keep us posted
