OK the big block has topped out do you think that a trx 3.3 will rev higher and be faster?

I would go with a Nova.21, RB.21, Sirio.21...I think you would be happy with the power from any of those motors. That is the onloy bad thing about most big blocks, They are mainly bottom end motors. I dont know much on the dragsters, But could you gear up any?

You need some quicker RPM and torque off the line so to speak. So while you need the torque, you don't want it all bottom end......like RC Nut said change the gearing on that thing. Then go with a higher RPM pipe and header setup - something like you would use for a big track with lots of straights and less technical.
I should be getting the base car this week to work on my Bracket racer. It's not going to be nitro though.....going with an electric. 6-cell at first. With Bracket you basically are racing yourself, so to speak. You race against what you dial in. Ought to be interesting. I'll set it up so that it could be quickly converted to a Super Gas'er.
I'll keep ya posted.....

ok guys good news I took the dragster up to the shop and had it running in the parking lot (nontreated) I was making some passes and a cop clocked it at 63mph.I think it is shifting now but it shifts to fast and I have the 2speed as tight as it will go.I am going to start changing tires and pipes and gears to see if I can get more out of it.I know that it is spinning way to much and would be faster if I was on a treated track.this was a run across the lot not 132' more like 150 or so.

I'm telling ya.....63 MPH is nothing. That thing should hit 80-90 MPH in 132" easy! Traction, traction, traction......it will make all the difference!
Sounds like you are having a lot of fun Camp!!

The shifting too fast behaviour might be caused by the lack of traction. If the wheels spin fast enough it'll shift even if you are only going 5mph.
BTW? Where's the video!?!

weel I tried more tires and I am still waiting on some foam tires to come in at the LHS I think I have found the cars limit with what I have.untill I can run on a treated track all I do is spin but it is still fun to drive. It will come off the line and pitch to the left every time. The tires ballon up just like a real one and you have to try and keep it strait I will try and get a video of the tires ballooning.
