I actually built a complete roller out of spare parts. All I had to buy was shocks and skids. I then traded it for a RTR Rustler and Bandit for my kids.
Isn't it amazing how many spare parts we end up with lol.

I have seen them extended that way. From what I recall, it didn't work out that well. Flex was a problem at first, untill it just bent off a big jump.

dang it y'all LOL I guess I am going to have to build a chassis for it . OK what do you think about a full tube chassis like this one I build for my e-maxx but do it for a t-maxx? Do you think it needs to be stock short or long wheel base? Do you think I should keep the independent suspension or make some solid maxx axles and run a 4 link? This is only going to be a truck to run some times like when my other ones are down. Sorry for all the questions just tring to get a idea where I want to go with it.

Well i am thinking bigger and longer if possible. The cage would be stronger. Bigger would allow for a BB and revo shafts for the BB motor.

ok I have a design in my head and I hope to start on the chassis some time this weekend. It will be a long chassis but just long enuff to fit the BB in there. I hope to get some pics as the build goes on and will keep you guys posted.

OK I have worked on it a little bit . the only reason I ext. the chassis was so the BB would fit. I did not like to way the chassis looked so I just looked at it and the only reason the BB will not fit is the tranny so I moved it up two holes. I am planing on running it two wheel drive. I put a hpi spur gear on it so I can use the hpi cbell that I have. But this is what I have so far. I think I am still going to build a chassis just had a though.

this thing runs sweet I like this better then doing a full longer chassis converstion . I plan on getting the new proline baja body and running paddle tires. I moved the tranny forward and now I cant run a front haft shaft so this thing is 2WD and is a blast with that much power and only 2WD.
